One of the best products introduced to papercrafting has been the cutting machine. The ease of cutting multiple shapes precisely and quickly makes creating paper crafts even more enjoyable. More recently, papercrafters have been looking for ways to add textural elements to their paper cutouts, so adding the ability to emboss mechanically has skyrocketed to the forefront.

Blog update

For those of you that follow my blog...I am sorry I haven't had much to post lately. I was asked to be the Assistant Juinor High Volleyball Coach at my kids' school. So between practices, games, housework and keeping up with my 3 kids, there isn't much time for crafting. Volleyball is over October 8th and then I can get back on track before I am running around to basketball and wrestling. Yikes!! School time is crazy!!

In 48 days I will be having a giveaway for my 1 year blogoversary.

Thanks for understanding.

Baby Boy layout

This is a layout I made for a challenge over at Karens-kakes-krafts. She has an awesome prize for the winner of her baby boy layout challenge. I don't normally do blank layouts and usually my layouts are pretty simple. I don't like a lot of bulk in my scrapbooks. I much rather prefer to scrap a layout around a photo so this was really hard for me.

Supplies used:
Sentiment was printed using Microsoft Word
Misc. cardstock and paper
Ribbon is from Michaels
Liquid Pearls (kind of hard to see in the picture)
